Chronology of cameras Ansco
In 1933, from May to November, the "Century of Progress" exhibition took place in Chicago. This exhibition celebrated new technologies but also aimed to dispel the image of "Al Capone and Co" associated with Chicago. It received 39 million visitors.
Ansco manufactured this box camera specifically for this event.
